The Oakdale Company Acquires Century-Tech, Inc., A Packaging Machinery Manufacturer Gearing Up for Strategic Expansion
Last Updated: March 21, 2025
SAN FRANCISCO, Mar. 21, 2025 – Rejigg announced today that Century-Tech, Inc., a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging machinery, has been acquired by The Oakdale Company, a private investment firm employing patient capital to drive business growth and operational excellence for industry leading companies. With this acquisition, The Oakdale Company is making a significant investment into Century-Tech's future, positioning the company for rapid expansion through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
Under The Oakdale Company's stewardship, Century-Tech will accelerate product development, scale operations, and expand its market reach. The company plans to grow aggressively both organically through innovation and inorganically through the acquisition of complementary packaging machinery companies. Over the coming months and years, Century-Tech will actively seek add-ons and tuck-in acquisitions to enhance its capabilities and broaden its product offerings for packaging clients across North America, Central America, the Caribbean, Asia, and Africa.
"The Oakdale Company is committed to Century-Tech's long-term success and growing the company to become a significant partner to the industry's converting leaders," said Clinton Townsend, CEO of The Oakdale Company. "We see immense opportunity to expand Century-Tech's market presence and product portfolio, and we are actively seeking additional acquisitions to complement and strengthen its offering. Our focus is on sustainable, strategic growth that benefits customers, employees, and the broader industry."
The introduction and eventual transaction between Century-Tech and The Oakdale Company was in part made possible by Rejigg, a revolutionary platform that allows qualified buyers to connect directly with unbrokered, off-market businesses that are looking to transact. Century-Tech originally joined Rejigg in August 2024 and was contacted by Clinton Townsend within their first few days on the platform. The parties had their first call later that week and signed an LOI in October. The deal closed on February 28, 2025.
